As a measure to prevent sediment disasters, the construction of "sediment control dams" that block sediment is effective, and our roll forming products are used as components in these sediment control dams. Our company collaborated on the development of a new construction method at the request of a civil engineering materials manufacturer. After a year of joint development, we completed the "fitting-type U-shaped steel plate segment," which is lighter and easier to assemble on-site compared to conventional methods. The reduction in weight has also led to lower material and transportation costs, and since the start of production in 2002, it has been adopted in many sediment control dams.
